About Me

Hi, I’m Desirée Schmidt, founder of DESIART.
I’m a graphic designer and art facilitator exploring the meeting point between visual creativity and human connection.

After years of working in digital and print design, I felt called to bring my creativity into a more personal space — through art therapy practices and Access Bars sessions, supporting people in reconnecting with themselves through art and awareness.

Today, I combine both worlds: designing for brands and projects that inspire me, and guiding creative experiences that nurture clarity, balance, and growth.

What I Do

My work blends art, creativity, and awareness to support emotional balance, confidence, and authentic expression. Whether through playful art sessions for kids, mindful practices, or meaningful design, everything I create is guided by one intention — to help people grow and shine.

DESIART for Moms

Offers regular workshops for women after childbirth.
These sessions combine Art Therapy foundations with relaxation and release tools like music, breathing techniques, and other practices that help reconnect with the body and emotions.
They also create a supportive space where moms can share and feel accompanied through the challenges of this stage.

DESIART for Kids

A creative space full of imagination and fun.
Throughout the year, I offer group workshops based on artistic activities where children create, play, and connect with their essence and nature.
In the summer, I run camps that build confidence, resilience, and authentic expression, always grounded in Art Therapy within a safe and joyful environment.

Individual sessions for children and adults, based on Art Therapy techniques and Access Bars—tools designed to promote emotional balance, personal awareness, release limiting thoughts by unlocking the mind and opening a world of unlimited possibilities, fostering inner calm, well-being, and healing.

Private Consultations

I offer professional solutions in branding, visual identity, marketing materials, social media, and digital or print design, all created with intention, aesthetic sensitivity, and attention to detail.
I also create custom art pieces that bring beauty, warmth, and inspiration to homes, workplaces, and personal projects.

As an experienced graphic designer with a creative spirit, I enjoy crafting visual solutions that are precise, attractive, and functional — for both online and print projects.

Workshops Experiences

In my art workshops for children, I integrate guided imagination, mindful breathing, play, and guided conversation to complement the free and non-judgmental creative process. These elements help children strengthen their self-esteem, discover their potential, and release limiting beliefs in a natural and enjoyable way.

As a facilitator of art workshops, I bring together knowledge from Art Therapy, guided meditation, and mindfulness, along with elements that support relaxation and subconscious release, such as breathing and music. My goal is to guide participants through diverse emotional processes, helping them connect with themselves, find balance, and open new paths of self-discovery through art.

Art Creations

I create personalized artworks inspired by people’s ideas and emotions. So far, I’ve made paintings for exhibitions, as well as special pieces for family and art projects. I work with various techniques such as pencil, charcoal, acrylic, oil, and mixed media, and I also enjoy exploring digital art through illustration, Photoshop, and AI.

Now I’m opening space to offer custom art services that bring beauty and meaning to homes and offices — crafting pieces that inspire and connect with each client’s unique vision.
